ghosts ,we're everywhere

By Ron Kule

Ghost week, in my opinion, celebrates all of us. I say this because I do not believe we are our own bodies, or our minds; we are just spiritual beings who have bodies and minds, but we are not them.

I have always considered that we are separate from our bodies. It is not surprising to me that we can see, hear or talk to "ghosts" because we are the same as they - beings with or without bodies.

I guess you could define "ghosts" as spiritual beings who are presently without body, and that would narrow the subject matter.

I find that some animals are also ghosts. In my experience, some pets were "really there" and some were just mechanical bodies run probably by some genetic makeup only - nobody "home." The ones that I perceived to be "there" usually had a better intelligence and certainly a "presence" that could be felt, but the others were simple like small machines.

There was a chiropractor I knew years ago who could discover racehorses who were inhabitated and he often bought them from owners who had no clue of this, who considered their horse a "has-been" on the circuits. This doctor would get into communication with the horse, find out what ailed him, fix the problem and then race the horse to winning records before selling them off at profit! Good for the horse who was rehabilitated and good for the good doctor's wallet.

My most recent cat pet revealed himself to my wife one evening, in the form of an old man with grey hair standing at the foot of her bed. When she made the connection with her cat's body and him, he disappeared. In the ensuing years together all three of us got along very well, and he proved to be a real asset for me when selling from home. He was my Good Luck charm!

My experiences include meeting illusionary "ghosts" as well. When I was very tired years ago at the wheel late at night, there appeared on my hood beyond the windshield a group of devils - complete with horns, tails and pitchforks - dancing. I slammed on my brakes after seeing I was alone on the freeway and found these devils to be only imaginary illusions I had created in my tiredness. The moral being, it's not that hard to differentiate what's real from what's not when it comes to "ghosts" and the like.

If all of the above in my intel gives you the creeps, if it has your eyes drifting over your shoulders looking for the hand of death or some other legendary ghostly apparition, then perhaps this was written by another ghost just like you.

And isn't that creepy?!
